Responsibilities:

Manage the full cycle of accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (A/R), ensuring all financial transactions are accurately recorded and processed. Lead the year-end close process, preparing financial statements and reports, and coordinating with external auditors as needed. Utilize advanced Excel skills to create financial models, conduct data analysis, and generate financial reports. Use CDK or equivalent automotive dealership software to manage and track sales transactions. Reconcile all balance sheet accounts on a monthly basis, identifying and resolving any discrepancies. Calculate commissions for the sales team accurately and in a timely manner, ensuring all sales incentives are properly accounted for. Collaborate with the sales team to provide financial insights and recommendations, supporting the achievement of sales goals. Maintain strict confidentiality of all financial data and adhere to all company policies and procedures, as well as legal regulations.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. A minimum of 5 years of experience in an accounting role, preferably within the automotive sales industry. Proficiency in accounts payable, accounts receivable, and year-end close processes. Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables, vlookups, and complex formulas. Experience with CDK or equivalent automotive dealership software. Proven ability to calculate commissions and other sales incentives. Solid understanding of financial reconciliation processes. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail. Strong communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with team members across the organization. High level of integrity and reliability, with a commitment to maintaining the confidentiality of sensitive financial information.
