Respond with Compassionate Action We are seeking a Field Accountant to join our International Projects team in Port Sudan, Sudan . Through humanitarian work, the goal and purpose of Samaritan's Purse are to help people in Jesus name and share the Gospel of Jesus Christ. In the role of Field Accountant , you will have the opportunity to: Maintain a personal, active relationship with Jesus Christ and is a consistent witness for Jesus Christ Accurately record all payable and bank transactions, manage cash advances and field expense reports, and complete monthly bank reconciliations to keep the organizations finances transparent and reliable. Prepare timely financial statements and donorgrant reports that meet internal policies, field accounting standards, and external audit requirements, ensuring every dollar supports Samaritan's Purses mission. Work closely with Area Coordinators, project managers, and operations staff to provide financial guidance, cover the Finance Managers duties when needed, and facilitate smooth audit processes. Monitor and renew contracts for rentals, facilities, and vehicles, guaranteeing that all related payments are current and aligned with organizational stewardship principles. Dedicate a portion of time to interacting with beneficiaries children, youth, and at-risk adults promoting their wellbeing and safeguarding their welfare, reflecting the heart of Samaritan's Purses compassionate outreach. Other duties as assigned Qualifications? Serve with Excellence As a qualified candidate, you will have the following skills and experience: Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university in Finance or related field and one (1) to two (2) years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of experience and education Comprehensive knowledge of Microsoft Excel. Intermediate knowledge of key mathematical principles. Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations What are the benefits?
