We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Accounting Intern to join our finance team for a part-time position. This internship offers an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in accounting and financial operations while supporting the team in various key tasks.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in maintaining accurate financial records, including ledgers, journals, and basic financial reports.
• Support the preparation of financial documents such as balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow summaries.
• Participate in the budgeting process and help track actual performance against budgeted figures.
• Monitor customer accounts receivable, prepare invoices, and assist in follow-ups for outstanding payments.
• Assist with bank reconciliations to ensure company records align with actual bank transactions.
• Contribute to ensuring compliance with tax regulations by supporting tax filings and documentation.
• Help identify financial trends and opportunities for improvement through basic financial analysis.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting principles (e.g., GAAP or IFRS) under supervision.
• Provide support during audits, manage financial data, and collaborate with other departments.
• Participate in special projects and gain exposure to various facets of financial management.

Requirements:

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Basic knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
• Eagerness to learn and contribute in a dynamic work environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Familiarity with accounting software (e.g., SAP, QuickBooks) is a plus but not required.
• Coursework or prior experience in accounting or finance is an advantage.
