In this pivotal role, you will oversee the entire subscription lifecycle, ensuring seamless account management, billing accuracy, and exceptional customer service. Your expertise in financial systems, accounting principles, and software tools will drive operational excellence and foster strong client relationships. This position offers an exciting opportunity to influence strategic growth while maintaining rigorous compliance standards and delivering outstanding subscriber experiences. Duties Manage and optimize subscription billing processes using various financial software and accounting systems such as QuickBooks, Sage, PeopleSoft, and billing software platforms. Oversee accounts receivable and payable functions, ensuring timely collections and accurate payments aligned with GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles). Conduct detailed account analysis, reconciliation, and journal entries to maintain precise financial records. Utilize Excel data analysis skills, including formulas and spreadsheets, to monitor subscription metrics, analyze trends, and prepare reports for senior management. Coordinate collections account management efforts to minimize delinquencies while providing excellent customer service through clear communication and phone etiquette. Ensure compliance with SOX (Sarbanes-Oxley Act) controls related to financial reporting and internal audits. Perform data entry tasks with high accuracy, including double entry bookkeeping and 10 key typing, supporting overall financial integrity. Collaborate with cross-functional teams on technical accounting issues such as debits & credits, account reconciliation, and journal entries to support business growth. Requirements Proven experience in accounting or finance roles within a public accounting environment or similar setting. Strong knowledge of accounting principles including
GAAP, SOX
compliance, and technical accounting concepts. Proficiency with financial software such as QuickBooks, Sage, PeopleSoft, Microsoft Office (Excel including formulas), Quicken, and billing software platforms. Demonstrated ability in accounts receivable management, collections account oversight, and customer communication skills. Excellent analysis skills with the ability to interpret financial data accurately using spreadsheets and Excel data analysis tools. Experience with account reconciliation, journal entries, double entry bookkeeping, and data entry accuracy. Strong math skills coupled with attention to detail in account analysis and financial concepts. Effective phone etiquette for client communication and problem resolution in a fast-paced environment.
