Responsibilities:

• Oversee the accuracy of key accounting records by reconciling the general ledger, guest-related balances, accounts receivable activity, and deposit accounts in accordance with established controls.
• Lead month-end close activities by preparing journal entries, recording accruals, and assembling financial support schedules for management review.
• Monitor daily revenue reporting and investigate mismatches between point-of-sale activity and property management system data to ensure complete and accurate revenue capture.
• Perform monthly balance sheet reviews, identify unusual variances, and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.
• Partner with operational leaders to explain financial results, track spending patterns, and contribute to budgeting and forecasting efforts.
• Support compliance with accounting policies, internal procedures, and audit requirements by maintaining organized documentation and responding to review requests.
• Recommend process improvements that strengthen reporting accuracy, operational efficiency, and overall financial controls.
