Our client is seeking an experienced Audit Manager to join its growing Audit & Assurance practice. This leadership opportunity is ideal for a public accounting professional who enjoys managing client relationships, leading audit engagements, mentoring staff, and serving a diverse portfolio of privately held businesses and nonprofit organizations. Responsibilities Lead audit and assurance engagements from planning through completion. Manage multiple engagements while ensuring budgets and deadlines are met. Supervise, mentor, and develop audit staff. Review workpapers and financial statements prior to Partner review. Build and maintain strong client relationships through exceptional service and communication. Identify opportunities to provide advisory services and additional value to clients. Assist with business development and practice growth initiatives. Coordinate engagement planning, staffing, and scheduling. Foster a collaborative, high-performing team environment. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting required. CPA license or active pursuit of CPA preferred. 5-7+ years of public accounting experience. Experience serving nonprofit organizations and conducting nonprofit audits is strongly preferred. Previous supervisory or management experience preferred. Strong leadership, communication, and relationship-building skills. Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities. High proficiency with accounting software and technology. Ability to manage multiple engagements in a deadline-driven environment.
