Job Description
Overview The City Auditor is a leadership position responsible for overseeing the City's financial, administrative, and personnel functions. This role provides direct support to the Medora City Council, manages the City's financial operations, payroll, benefits, and related administrative duties, and serves as a professional resource to City employees and the public. Requirements Excellent computer & accounting skills Strong leadership, communication, & organization Ability to handle large amounts of responsibility including managing multiple projects at a time Excellent time and resource management Thorough understanding of municipal financial operations Excellent team management skills; ability to motivate and oversee staff Exceptional analysis skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data accurately Knowledge of governmental accounting practices along with tax experience is highly desirable Benefits Competitive salary Paid full-family health insurance Vision and dental insurance Vacation and sick time accrual Paid holidays NDPERS retirement Consistent schedule, Monday•Friday 8am•4:30pm We strongly encourage all applicants considering to apply, and join the City of Medora team!
