+ Benedicts is seeking an experienced Branch Manager to lead our Hayward, California location. This role is responsible for the overall success of the branch, including customer service, sales support, warehouse operations, inventory management, employee development, safety, and profitability. The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader who enjoys developing teams, improving operations, building customer relationships, and driving business results. You'll work closely with sales, customer service, warehouse personnel, and company leadership to ensure the branch operates safely, efficiently, and profitably. What You'll DoLeadership & Team Development Lead all branch operations and daily activities Recruit, hire, train, coach, and develop employees Conduct performance reviews and support employee growth Foster a culture of accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures Customer Service & Sales Support Ensure customers receive timely, accurate, and professional service Resolve customer concerns and service issues Partner with outside sales representatives to support customer needs and business growth Build and maintain strong customer relationships Operations & Warehouse Management Oversee warehouse operations, shipping, receiving, order fulfillment, and inventory control Ensure accurate and timely processing of customer orders Maintain inventory accuracy through cycle counts and physical inventories Coordinate inventory transfers and replenishment activities Monitor operational performance and identify opportunities for improvement Financial & Business Performance Manage branch performance to achieve sales, gross margin, and profitability goals Monitor labor utilization and operating expenses Participate in budgeting and forecasting activities Review branch results and implement corrective actions as needed Safety & Facility Management Maintain a safe, clean, and professional work environment Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations and company safety standards Conduct regular safety meetings and facility inspections Oversee facility maintenance and equipment repairs Protect company assets and maintain facility security QualificationsRequired High school diploma or GED 5+ years of leadership experience in wholesale distribution, warehouse operations, logistics, customer service, sales management, or a related field Strong leadership and employee development skills Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities Strong organizational and time management skills Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) Preferred Experience in wholesale distribution, commercial furnishings, retail fixtures, or related industries Experience managing warehouse operations and inventory Budgeting and financial management experience Knowledge of distribution and logistics best practices What We're Looking For Customer-focused mindset Strong operational and business acumen Results-oriented leadership style Ability to build and develop high-performing teams Effective communicator and problem solver Organized, accountable, and detail-oriented Comfortable making decisions in a fast-paced environment
