The Corporate office is located in Oldsmar, FL with additional facilities in Lakeland, Fl., St. Gabriel, La., San Antonio, Tx., and Lenoir NC. We are looking to recruit a Branch Manager for our Baton Rouge, Louisiana facility. This is a hands-on position working both in the office and on the floor directing between 8-10 employees and 2 drivers. There is a metal roll forming manufacturing operation at this location along with distribution throughout the state. We receive master bundles of extrusion and truckloads of panels from either direct from the extruders or Florida manufacturing operations. The products are broken down and redistributed on branch operated trucks throughout the branch territory. We also have local contractors who pick up materials at our will call counter. Picking stock, filling orders, truck loading and unloading are the main functions of the service center.

Job Summary:

Responsible to open and closing as part of the management team. Average workday would be estimated during the 90-day training period up to 10 to 11 hour a day. After the training period the average workday will normally be 8 to 9 hours a day. An occasion ½ day Saturday may be required. Responsible for daily bank deposit Responsible in assisting H/R with payroll (time approval), all new hire paperwork and disciplinary actions up to and including terminations Responsible for maintaining OSHA requirements and reporting any work comp injuries.

Experience preferred:

4 years of related construction material distribution or sales experience, with a level of supervisory capacity. The candidate should have excellent interpersonal skills as it is a relatively small production environment. A positive sales attitude is required as this position involves daily interaction with our contractor customers. Must be detail orientated, have general math skills and the ability to understand production order paperwork. Experience with computerized order filling or bar code scanning is a big plus.
