This pivotal role combines expert knowledge of automotive sales, financial services, and regulatory compliance to deliver exceptional customer experiences while maximizing dealership profitability. As a key leader, you will oversee the entire sales process, from client engagement to deal structuring, ensuring adherence to industry standards and fostering long-term customer relationships. Your energetic approach will inspire your team and drive success in a competitive marketplace. Responsibilities Lead and motivate the sales team to achieve and surpass monthly sales and finance targets through effective coaching and performance management. Manage the entire F&I process, including presenting financing options, upselling insurance products, and ensuring compliance with all loan regulations such as TILA (Truth in Lending Act) and title processing requirements. Develop strong relationships with customers by providing transparent, detailed information about vehicle financing options, warranties, and insurance products. Oversee loan processing, credit analysis, deal structuring, and transaction negotiations to secure favorable terms for both the customer and dealership. Ensure all transactions adhere to automotive industry regulations, financial compliance standards, and dealership policies. Utilize industry-standard financial software (e.g., CDK) for accurate deal documentation, credit reporting, and contract management. Conduct ongoing training on automotive sales industry regulations, financial regulatory compliance, and best practices in customer service to maintain high standards of professionalism. Experience Proven experience as a Loan Officer or in automotive sales with a strong understanding of automotive financing and insurance products. Demonstrated success in upselling additional products such as extended warranties or service plans within a dealership environment. Familiarity with dealership management systems like CDK or similar financial software platforms. Knowledge of transaction structuring, credit analysis, and negotiation techniques that lead to successful deal closures. Strong understanding of automotive sales industry regulations including TILA, title processing procedures, and compliance with loan regulations. Excellent customer relationship management skills with the ability to communicate complex financial concepts clearly and effectively. Basic math skills including 10-key typing proficiency necessary for accurate data entry and calculations related to credit analysis and deal structuring.
