TLC Community Credit Union is looking for an experienced and motivated Branch Manager to lead one of our branch teams and help us continue building strong relationships with our members and the communities we serve. This is more than an operational management role. We are looking for a leader who enjoys developing people, creating an exceptional member experience, building relationships in the community, and finding opportunities to grow the branch. As a Branch Manager, you will be responsible for the overall leadership and performance of your branch while working closely with Branch Operations and other leaders across the Credit Union. What You'll Do Lead and Develop Your Team Coach, mentor, and develop branch employees while creating a positive, accountable, and high-performing team environment. Set clear expectations and provide ongoing feedback, recognition, and performance management. Identify development opportunities and help employees build skills and prepare for future career growth. Oversee staffing, scheduling, and day-to-day team needs to maintain effective branch coverage. Drive Branch Growth Lead efforts to grow deposits, loans, membership, and overall member relationships. Identify opportunities to connect members with products and services that meet their financial needs. Monitor branch performance and help your team understand and achieve established goals. Look for new opportunities to improve branch performance and support the Credit Union's long-term growth. Build Community & Business Relationships Develop relationships with local businesses, organizations, community partners, and prospective members. Participate in community, charitable, civic, and business activities. Represent TLC Community Credit Union as a trusted financial partner in the communities we serve. Bring our People Helping People philosophy to life through meaningful community engagement. Deliver an Exceptional Member Experience Create a branch environment where members receive knowledgeable, professional, and personalized service. Support your team in resolving complex member questions and concerns. Remain actively involved in member service, including new accounts, consumer lending, home equity lending, loan modifications, and other branch services as needed. Encourage solutions and referrals that deepen member relationships and provide meaningful value. Oversee Branch Operations Ensure branch operations are efficient, accurate, secure, and compliant with Credit Union policies and applicable regulations. Maintain strong internal controls and partner with Compliance, Risk, Audit, Human Resources, and other departments as needed. Identify opportunities to improve workflows, processes, and use of resources. Use branch data and performance results to make informed decisions and drive continuous improvement. What We're Looking For Our ideal candidate is an experienced people leader who can balance employee development, member service, business growth, and operational accountability.
Qualifications include:
Two or more years of progressively responsible management experience within a financial institution or similar financial organization. Demonstrated success leading and developing teams and achieving performance goals. Strong coaching, communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills. Ability to work independently, exercise sound judgment, and hold others accountable. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Professional presence and the ability to represent TLC Community Credit Union in the community. Comfort working with data, reports, Microsoft Office, and other business technology. Community involvement and/or business development experience preferred. Associate degree in Business Administration or comparable professional experience. Our Branch Managers are expected to build engaged teams, develop future leaders, deliver an exceptional member experience, grow member relationships, maintain strong operational and compliance standards, and establish their branch as an active part of the community.
