Full Job Description Job Summary:

The Branch Manager will oversee the daily operations of their employees and customers and will provide the leadership and direction necessary to achieve and sustain the sales growth for the branch and long term goals and plans of Johnson Supply.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

Carry out the goals, plans and mission of Johnson Supply as established by management Provide strong leadership and create an environment that ensures all employees are motivated and have the opportunities grow themselves while helping to achieve objectives and goals Train, mentor and counsel all employee under their supervision Ensure that employees perform all task in an ethical and moral manner Attain or exceed the established sales volume as well as the gross and operating profit goals Must communicate and interact both verbally and in writing with customers, vendors, employees and other business professionals. Must be able to work independently with minimum supervision and achieve all objective and goals as stated. Maintain reports as directed by management Ensure customer and employee problems are solved appropriately according to company policy and procedures Offer innovative ideas to management that support the success of the branch and company Control operational cost/budget Advise management of any internal or external issues that come up Manage the work schedule for branch location Responsible for recruiting and maintaining branch personnel including hiring, termination, promotion and discipline according to company policy and procedures. Work with sales, marketing and regional operations manager on good customer relations Promote Johnson Supply in a positive and professional manner Develop an understanding of location territory and customer base Manage inventory levels to support customer satisfaction according to company procedure Maintain and continue growing in industry and product knowledge. Manage and maintain a safe working environment, i.e. property location both inside and out, company assigned vehicle. Assist in the supervision and training of new employees Forecast sales and profit goals for the branch Meet or exceed all sales and profit goals Responsible for making sure inventory cycle counts are performed daily Responsible for keeping equipment damage at a minimum Responsible for establishing that all task and duties are performed in a timely manner

Qualifications & Skills:

High School Diploma or GED equivalent Valid Texas Driver's License with and insurable driving record Two (2) to Three (3) years minimum HVAC/R industry experience Two (2) to Three (3) years minimum experience in managing employees Must have the ability to perform intermediate business math calculations Intermediate or above computer skills Must have excellent communication skills both verbal and written Must be able to communicate in the English language (bi-lingual skills are a plus) Must be able to pass a National Criminal Background check Must be able to pass a fitness for duty physical Must be able to pass a drug screen and breath alcohol screening.

Physical Requirements & Working Conditions:

This job requires the full use of vision and hearing The ability to walk, climb stairs, carry, lift, push and pull The ability to stand, stoop, sit, squat, flex arms, fingers, legs and feet The working conditions for this job will be in both a climate and non climate controlled setting which may be hot and cold, and may also be noisy and dusty

Performance Metrics and Measurements:

All metrics and measurements are communicated with the Branch Manager by the Regional Operations Manager during annual evaluations.
