Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and dynamic Community Branch Bank Manager to lead and manage our small community branch located in Redwater, Texas. Someone who is familiar to the Redwater area and/or willing to move to the area. This role is ideal for a driven individual with strong leadership skills, a passion for customer service, and a solid understanding of banking operations. The Branch Manager will be responsible for overseeing all branch activities, including staff management, branch operations, customer relations, and building and managing a robust loan portfolio. The ideal candidate will be proactive, detail-oriented, and skilled at cultivating strong relationships within the local community.
Key Responsibilities:
Branch Operations:
Oversee the daily operations of the branch, ensuring efficient and effective service delivery.
Manage branch staff, providing leadership, coaching, and performance management to ensure high levels of employee engagement and productivity.
Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements, policies, and procedures.
Maintain operational standards for security, cash handling, and customer transactions.
Drive branch profitability by managing expenses and maximizing revenue opportunities.
Loan Portfolio Management:
Build, grow, and manage a diverse loan portfolio, focusing on consumer loans, small business loans, and home lending.
Assess loan applications, ensuring proper underwriting and risk management while meeting customer needs.
Establish and maintain relationships with current and potential borrowers, providing guidance throughout the loan process.
Ensure timely follow-up on loan delinquencies, collections, and renewals.
Develop and implement strategies to increase loan volume and expand the portfolio while minimizing risk.
Customer Relationship Management:
Foster strong relationships with customers, ensuring exceptional service and satisfaction.
Act as the primary point of contact for any customer inquiries, concerns, or issues.
Identify opportunities to cross-sell bank products and services that align with customer needs, including savings accounts, credit cards, and financial planning services.
Build partnerships within the local community to enhance the bank's presence and reputation.
Sales & Business Development:
Actively seek out new business opportunities through networking, referrals, and community involvement.
Promote and increase the branch's visibility in the community through events, sponsorships, and partnerships.
Drive sales goals for both deposit and loan products, meeting or exceeding monthly, quarterly, and annual targets.
Reporting & Financial Performance:
Monitor and report on branch performance metrics, including loan growth, deposit activity, and customer satisfaction.
Prepare regular reports for upper management on branch operations, financial performance, and progress towards business objectives.
Ensure that all branch financial goals are met and maintain a strong financial position for the branch.
Qualifications:
Education:
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, or related field (preferred).
Experience:
At least 5 years of experience in banking, with a minimum of 2 years in a managerial or leadership role. Experience in loan origination and portfolio management is highly preferred.
Skills:
Strong knowledge of banking operations, loan products, and financial regulations.
Excellent leadership, coaching, and team-building skills.
Ability to analyze financial data and make sound business decisions.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
Proven sales and business development experience.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Working Conditions:
Full-time, in-office position with occasional evening or weekend hours as needed.
The role may require occasional travel for community outreach and business development activities.
