SUMMARY OF JOB

The Accounting Clerk is responsible for the timely payment of invoices and preparation of employee paychecks.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Is responsible for the timely and accurate payment of vendor invoices. 2. Reviews and corrects the general ledger account coding of invoices in the Company's 3. Pays invoices to qualify for all available cash discounts. 4. Prepares employee paychecks. 5. Prepares sales tax returns (if applicable). 6. Is responsible for reviewing employee work hours and short lunches in TimeStar. 7. Maintains the purchasing order system and is responsible for ordering office supplies (if applicable). 8. Maintains the postage meter (if applicable). 9. Check payroll changes for accuracy.
