Bessemer, Alabama Job Description We are seeking a detail-oriented Accounts Receivable Specialist to help manage customer invoicing, payment processing, and account reconciliation. This is a full-time, entry-level position with our client, a national specialty chemical company with offices in Bessemer, Alabama. This is a great opportunity for someone with accounts receivable experience looking to grow within a stable, established organization. Responsibilities Generate and send customer invoices accurately and on time Post and apply incoming payments to the correct customer accounts Monitor accounts receivable aging and follow up on outstanding balances Reconcile customer accounts and resolve discrepancies Communicate with customers regarding billing questions and payment status Prepare AR reports and support month-end close activities Maintain organized and accurate records of invoices, payments, and correspondence Qualifications Experience in accounts receivable, billing, or a related accounting support role Basic understanding of reconciliation and accounting principles Experience with QuickBooks and Excel Strong attention to detail and documentation skills Ability to communicate professionally with customers and internal teams Benefits 401(k) 401(k) matching Dental insurance Health insurance Life insurance Paid time off Vision insurance
