Job Summary Establishes, maintains, and develops client relationships within assigned territory to attain targeted business and commercial loan portfolios. Manages a variety of commercial loans in compliance with bank policy and regulatory requirements. Responsibilities Establishes and maintains favorable professional network within assigned local community, county, and/or territory. Calls on potential or existing clients to develop new business, increase business and retain existing business. Interviews applicants for commercial types of loans Assists commercial loan customers with the loan application process and ensures the confidentiality of all information provided by applicants. Analyzes and screens loan requests on all types of loans. Exercises judgment within wide ranging policies, precedents and upper-level management oversight for packaging loans as well establishing terms and conditions of loans. Achieves and maintains required loan portfolio balance. Maintains thorough understanding of loan policy and procedure in relation to commercial lending. Participates in a team effort to cross-sell bank and affiliate products and services. Completes all required training. Performs other related duties as required or assigned.
Requirements Education and Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent combine of education and lending and banking experience Two to four years previous banking experience with emphasis in commercial lending and branch management Must have or receive NMLS clearance. Ability to communicate effectively with clients to achieve loan portfolio goals, establish business relationships, and maintain client satisfaction. Knowledge of regulatory requirements governing commercial lending. Proficiency in computer applications Must possess and maintain current and valid driver's license and a vehicle with appropriate insurance coverage. Ability to travel throughout the market for various meetings and appointments.
