Job Overview We are seeking a detail-oriented and energetic Accounts Payable (AP) Temporary Associate to support our finance team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to gain hands-on experience in accounts payable processes, financial software systems, and accounting procedures. The AP Temp will play a vital role in ensuring accurate and timely processing of invoices, maintaining financial compliance, and supporting overall accounting operations. Duties QuickBooks, or Sage to ensure accuracy and completeness Enter data into accounting systems with precision, utilizing Excel formulas and VLOOKUP functions for data analysis and reconciliation Manage accounts payable transactions including invoice processing, account reconciliation, and journal entries Support accounts receivable management by reviewing incoming payments and updating records accordingly Conduct account reconciliations and analyze discrepancies to ensure financial accuracy Handle confidential information with integrity while supporting audit preparations and documentation Experience Previous experience in accounting or finance roles, preferably within public accounting or corporate finance environments (2 years) Familiarity with financial software Strong understanding of double entry bookkeeping, general ledger accounting, and financial concepts Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel for data analysis and spreadsheet management Knowledge of accounts payable automation tools and invoice processing procedures is a plus Excellent attention to detail with strong analysis skills for account reconciliation and journal entries Ability to handle sensitive information confidentially while managing multiple tasks efficiently Join us at Ushio to be part of a dynamic team committed to innovation through light solutions.
