Description Accounts Receivable Specialist San Francisco, CA (Hybrid) $65,000-$72,500 Do you have at least two years of billing and/or accounts receivable experience and desire to grow with a team with mentorship? We are working on an accounts receivable / billing specialist role for a wonderful team in San Francisco, CA. This would be a direct hire hybrid position. The ideal candidate will have a good blend of billing and accounts receivable experience, strong attention to detail, and strong analytical skills. Responsibilities:
Prepare and process client invoices accurately and in a timely manner, ensuring compliance with firm billing guidelines and client requirements. Monitor accounts receivable balances and follow up professionally on outstanding invoices to support timely collections. Research and resolve billing discrepancies, client inquiries, and payment issues in collaboration with attorneys and internal teams. Maintain accurate billing records, customer account information, and payment documentation within the firm's accounting system. Assist with monthly billing cycles, cash application, account reconciliations, and reporting activities. Identify opportunities to improve billing and collections processes while delivering excellent client service. Qualifications 2+ years of billing, accounts receivable, or related accounting experience; professional services experience is a plus but not required. Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment. Excellent communication and customer service skills with the confidence to professionally interact with clients and internal stakeholders. Intermediate Microsoft Excel skills and experience working with accounting, ERP, or billing software. Ability to learn new processes quickly and adapt to changing business needs. Pay Details:
