Job Description

Overview We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Full Charge Bookkeeper to join our dynamic finance team. In this vital role, you will manage all aspects of the company's accounting functions, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficiency across financial operations. Your expertise in accounting software, financial concepts, and regulatory standards will drive the integrity of our financial data and support strategic decision-making. Duties Manage full-cycle bookkeeping processes, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and bank reconciliations. Prepare and review journal entries, general ledger entries, and account reconciliations to ensure accuracy and compliance with GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles). Maintain and update financial records using various accounting systems such as QuickBooks, Xero, Sage, Workday, PeopleSoft, Ceridian, ADP, Kronos, UltiPro, and Paychex. Conduct balance sheet reconciliation and analyze financial data for discrepancies or anomalies. Oversee month-end and year-end closing procedures while ensuring adherence to internal controls like SOX (Sarbanes-Oxley Act) compliance. Assist with budgeting, credit analysis, and financial reporting to support management's strategic planning. Handle confidential information with integrity while providing excellent customer service to internal teams and external auditors. Requirements Proven experience in full-charge bookkeeping or accounting roles with a strong understanding of corporate accounting standards. Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks, Xero, Sage, PeopleSoft, or similar platforms; experience with financial software like UltiPro or Ceridian is a plus. Strong knowledge of GAAP principles and governmental accounting practices. Skilled in data entry, spreadsheet management (Excel data analysis), account analysis, journal entries, and double-entry bookkeeping. Excellent numeracy skills combined with the ability to perform account reconciliation and balance sheet analysis accurately. Familiarity with technical accounting concepts including debits & credits, account reconciliation processes, and general ledger management. Ability to handle confidential information responsibly while maintaining high levels of accuracy and attention to detail. Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Experience working with multiple financial systems such as ADP, Kronos, UltiPro, Paychex or equivalent payroll/HR platforms is desirable.
