We are seeking an Accounting Assistant / Bookkeeper for a temp-to-hire opportunity with a well-established HOA community in Sarasota. This is a great opportunity for someone with a strong accounting foundation who enjoys variety, working independently, and interacting with people throughout the day.
ResponsibilitiesProcess accounts payable and accounts receivablePerform account and bank reconciliationsAssist with general ledger activityMaintain accounting records in QuickBooks OnlineProcess ACH payments and transfersHandle light payroll through ADPAssist with annual maintenance fee updates and related accountingAnswer incoming phone calls and assist with general office needsGreet and assist residents, vendors, and prospective buyers/rentersMaintain and help improve office procedures and documentationProvide additional bookkeeping and administrative support as needed
