Our Client, a fast-growing technology company in downtown Toronto is seeking a hands-on Accounts Payable Associate to support day-to-day accounting operations on a 3-month contract. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a dynamic startup environment and can quickly contribute across accounts payable, invoicing and full cycle AP duties.

Key Responsibilities:

The Accounts Payable Associate will be responsible for the following: Manage daily expense and accounts payable processes using Float, including credit card coding and semi-monthly employee reimbursement and wellness stipend reviews. Post bank journal entries and support daily banking transactions. Assist with month-end balance sheet reconciliations for U.S. entities. Prepare supporting data and schedules for audit and tax requirements. Collaborate with the finance team to improve processes and support automation initiatives.

Must Have:

1-2 years of experience in accounting, finance operations, accounts payable, or a similar role. Hands-on experience managing accounts payable and expense processes. Experience working with cloud-based finance systems such as Float, NetSuite, Stripe, Zip, or similar platforms . Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple recurring priorities in a deadline-driven environment . TMGCT
