We are seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Specialist with strong attention to detail to join their accounting team in the North Andover, MA area.

AssociateResponsibilitiesKey Responsibilities Full-Cycle AP:

Process vendor invoices accurately and efficiently, matching purchase orders, receipts, and invoices while ensuring proper approvals prior to payment.

Payments & Reconciliation:

Prepare weekly and ad hoc check runs and ACH payments; review and reconcile vendor statements, resolving any discrepancies promptly.

Vendor & System Management:

Set up and maintain accurate vendor records and W-9 documentation; track purchase orders and assist with ERP optimization and process improvements.

Month-End & Audits:

Take ownership of AP month-end close procedures (including accruals and journal entries), audit expense reports in Expensify, and support audit requests.

Cross-Functional Collaboration:

Work closely with operations, purchasing, and vendor partners to support smooth financial operations.

Qualifications Education:

Associate's degree in Accounting or Business Administration preferred.

Experience:

1-2 years of hands-on Accounts Payable experience.

Technical Skills:

Solid understanding of bookkeeping and core accounting principles; experience with NetSuite is a plus.
