Overview Join our dynamic finance team as an AP/AR Specialist, where you'll play a vital role in managing the company's accounts payable and receivable processes with precision and efficiency. This energetic position offers the opportunity to work with cutting-edge financial software and systems, ensuring accurate financial transactions and fostering strong vendor and customer relationships. Your expertise will help maintain the integrity of our financial data, support compliance with accounting standards, and contribute to the overall health of our organization's financial operations. Duties Process and verify all accounts payable transactions, including invoice entry Manage accounts receivable functions by tracking payments, and following up on overdue accounts to ensure timely collections. Perform regular account reconciliations for general ledger accounts related to payables and receivables, ensuring accuracy and completeness. Handle data entry tasks with high accuracy using spreadsheets and accounting systems like QuickBooks maintain organized records of all transactions. Support month-end closing activities by preparing journal entries, reviewing account balances, and assisting with balance sheet reconciliations in compliance with GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles). Maintain confidentiality of sensitive financial information while delivering excellent customer service to vendors. Experience Proven experience in accounts payable and receivable management within a corporate accounting environment. Strong understanding of accounting concepts including debits & credits, double-entry bookkeeping, journal entries, and general ledger reconciliation. Proficiency with financial software such as Quickbooks Online a MUST Skilled in using Microsoft Office applications—especially Excel—for data analysis, spreadsheets management, and financial reporting. Knowledge of accounting standards including GAAP and governmental accounting principles; experience with technical accounting is advantageous. Ability to handle confidential information responsibly while demonstrating excellent numeracy skills and attention to detail.
