We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Accounting Assistant to join our finance team and support our growing manufacturing operations. Job Summary The Accounting Assistant will provide essential support to the accounting department by performing daily bookkeeping, processing transactions, and maintaining accurate financial records. This role is vital for ensuring the financial health and operational efficiency of our manufacturing facility.

Key Responsibilities Accounts Payable & Receivable :

Process vendor invoices, match purchase orders to receiving documents, and apply customer payments accurately.

Manufacturing Cost Tracking :

Assist in tracking production costs, including direct materials and labor hours, to support inventory valuation.

Bank & Account Reconciliation :

Reconcile bank statements, credit card accounts, and general ledger accounts to identify and resolve discrepancies.

Financial Reporting Support :

Assist in the preparation of monthly financial statements, budget summaries, and expense reports.

Inventory & Audit Support :

Support periodic physical inventory counts and provide documentation for internal or external audits.

Data Entry & Records Management :

Enter financial data with high speed and accuracy, and maintain organized digital and physical files.

Qualifications Education :

Associate's degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field (bachelor's degree preferred).

Experience :

1-3 years of experience in accounting support, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial environment.

Technical Skills :

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience with accounting software such as Sage 50 or similar.

Soft Skills :

Strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive data.
