Job Description

Our client is seeking an experienced Bookkeeper to help maintain accurate financial records and provide management with reliable financial information.

We are looking for someone who understands that bookkeeping is not simply data entry-it helps management understand job profitability, cash flow, expenses, and the financial health of the company.

Responsibilities include:

Maintain accurate bookkeeping recordsCategorize income and expensesPerform bank and credit-card reconciliationsManage accounts payable and accounts receivableAssist with payroll recordsTrack vendor bills and paymentsMaintain customer payment recordsHelp track deposits and outstanding balancesAssist with job costingMaintain organized financial documentationWork with CPA/tax professionals when necessaryProduce regular financial reports for ownershipHelp identify missing transactions or documentationMaintain confidentiality of company financial informationPreferred qualifications:

Previous bookkeeping experienceQuickBooks experience strongly preferredConstruction or home-service bookkeeping experience is a major plusUnderstanding of job costingStrong attention to detailDependable and organizedComfortable communicating financial discrepancies or concerns
