Job Description
Son D Farms is looking for a dependable, detail-oriented Accounting & Office Assistant to join our team. This position will support our accounting and day-to-day office operations, with the opportunity to take on additional accounting responsibilities as experience and knowledge of our business grows. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working with numbers, stays organized, and is looking for a long-term position with room to grow within the accounting side of our business. Key Responsibilities Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable Enter and maintain financial information using QuickBooks and Microsoft Dynamics NAV (Navision) Assist with payroll-related tasks Perform general bookkeeping and light accounting duties Help maintain accurate financial and business records Assist with vehicle licensing, registrations, and DOT/IFTA-related administrative requirements Provide backup coverage for the front desk Assist with general office duties and special projects as needed What We're Looking For Strong attention to detail and accuracy Good organizational and time-management skills Comfortable working with numbers and financial information Strong computer skills and ability to learn new programs Ability to handle confidential information professionally Dependable, self-motivated, and willing to learn Ability to work independently while also being part of a team Previous experience with accounting, bookkeeping, accounts payable/receivable, payroll, or similar office responsibilities is preferred Experience with QuickBooks and/or Microsoft Dynamics NAV (Navision) is a plus, but we are willing to train the right candidate Opportunity for Growth We are looking for someone interested in building a long-term role with Son D Farms. As this person becomes familiar with our business, systems, and accounting processes, there will be opportunities to take on additional accounting responsibilities and continue developing within the position.
