Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Accounting Clerk to join our finance team. In this role, you will be responsible for supporting various accounting functions, including data entry, account reconciliation, and financial record maintenance. The ideal candidate will possess strong numeracy skills, proficiency with accounting software, and strong attention to detail. This position offers an excellent opportunity to develop expertise in corporate accounting processes while contributing to the accuracy and integrity of our financial records. Duties Perform data entry of financial transactions into multiple accounting systems such as QuickBooks, Xero, Sage, and Workday with precision and efficiency. Manage accounts receivable processes, ensuring timely payments and collections. Reconcile general ledger accounts and perform balance sheet reconciliations regularly to maintain accurate financial statements. Prepare journal entries, conduct account analysis, and assist with month-end closing activities. Handle confidential information responsibly while ensuring data security across all financial records. Utilize Excel data analysis skills for reporting, variance analysis, and financial data review. Collaborate with internal teams to resolve discrepancies and improve accounting workflows. Qualifications Minimum of two years' experience in an administrative/accounting role with exposure to bookkeeping, account reconciliation, or general ledger management. Excellent numeracy skills combined with attention to detail and accuracy in data entry. Ability to analyze financial data effectively using spreadsheets such as Microsoft Excel. Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks efficiently. Effective communication skills for collaborating across departments and handling customer inquiries professionally. Pay:
$18.00 - $24.00 per hour
