Job Description
Accounting Specialist / QuickBooks Bookkeeper Trifecta is looking for an experienced Accounting Specialist / Bookkeeper with strong QuickBooks Online skills. This position will help manage day-to-day accounting across multiple companies involved in real estate, construction, and development . Responsibilities Maintain accurate books in QuickBooks Online Categorize and reconcile bank and credit card transactions Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable Prepare and enter checks, bills, deposits, transfers, and journal entries Maintain and clean up the Chart of Accounts Track expenses by company, project, property, or job Assist with construction and development accounting Review financial statements and identify discrepancies Maintain loan, inventory, asset, and liability accounts Coordinate with ownership and CPA as needed Help keep multiple company files organized and current Required Experience Strong QuickBooks Online experience Solid understanding of bookkeeping and accounting fundamentals Bank and credit card reconciliation experience Experience working with multiple entities or company files Ability to troubleshoot accounting errors rather than simply enter transactions Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Preferred Experience Construction accounting Real estate or property development accounting Job costing / project accounting Inventory or work-in-progress accounting Experience working with CPAs and preparing books for tax reporting We are specifically looking for someone who can understand the books, identify problems, and keep them organized , not simply perform data entry. Experience with construction, development, or real estate is a major plus. QuickBooks Online proficiency is essential.
