FULL-CHARGE BOOKKEEPER

Part-Time W-2 | 15

•20 Hours/Week | $30

•$35/Hour | Greater Asheville, NC Area | Primarily Remote Kadre Management is seeking an experienced, detail-oriented Full-Charge Bookkeeper to support Kadre and a portfolio of approximately six nonprofit and professional association clients. The right person will take ownership of multiple sets of books, complete reliable monthly closes, reconcile revenue systems to the general ledger, identify discrepancies early, and communicate clearly when information or action is needed.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Manage full-cycle bookkeeping across multiple entities, including A/P, A/R, general ledger activity, journal entries, and account reconciliations. Maintain accurate and current QuickBooks Online files. Complete monthly bank, credit-card, and balance-sheet reconciliations and documented monthly closes. Prepare monthly and quarterly financial statements and budget-to-actual reports. Reconcile membership dues, registration revenue, refunds, processing fees, payment systems, and bank activity to QuickBooks. Investigate missing, duplicate, unmatched, or incorrectly coded transactions and follow discrepancies through resolution. Support 1099 preparation, year-end schedules, outside accountants, Form 990 preparation, audits/reviews, and occasional accounting cleanup. Provide clear, responsive routine bookkeeping support to designated clients.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS 3

•5+ years of full-charge bookkeeping experience. Advanced proficiency with QuickBooks Online. Demonstrated monthly-close and account-reconciliation experience. Ability to manage multiple sets of books without sacrificing accuracy or deadlines. Strong accounting and financial-reporting knowledge. Strong Excel/spreadsheet skills and comfort working across integrated financial systems. Strong judgment, confidentiality, organization, follow-through, and professional communication.

STRONGLY PREFERRED

Nonprofit or association accounting experience. Experience with membership, registration, association-management, or payment-system reconciliation. Experience with functional expense allocation and class, fund, or program reporting. MemberLeap experience. Experience with accounting cleanup, transitions, and event or conference finances.
