Job Description:
Sanstone Health and Rehabilitation is seeking an Accounts Payable Specialist at our home office located in Mills River, North Carolina. SanStone provides support to skilled nursing and assisted living facilities across North Carolina.

- Tuition Reimbursement Programs Responsibilities include: Support Accounts Payable staff at the facility level in completing invoice processing, to include proper coding of invoices to ensure that expenses are recorded in the correct account and correct accounting period.
Complete weekly cash disbursement cycle on behalf of facilities via Automated Clearing House (ACH), Credit Card, or Check. Maintain vendor records for entire organization. Conduct on-site training sessions for facility Accounts Payable staff as needed. Assist in preparing financial and statistical reports as directed. Perform functions of computer/data processing, as necessary. Develop and utilize computer reports and output. Create and maintain an atmosphere of warmth, personal interest, and positive emphasis, as well as a calm environment throughout the facility.
Experience:
One to three years' experience in Accounts Payable. Experience with Microsoft Excel and QuickBooks as well as Health Care accounting is preferred.
Specific Requirements:
Must possess the ability to work harmoniously with other personnel. Must possess the ability to plan, organize, develop, implement, and interpret the programs, goals, objectives, policies, and procedures, etc., that are necessary for providing sound accounting techniques. Must be able to understand and carry out written and oral instructions. Must possess the ability to seek out new methods and principles and be willing to incorporate them into existing accounting practices. Must possess the ability to examine and verify financial documents and reports. Must be able to prepare financial and other records in a systematic, neat, and legible manner.
