Accounting Assistant (Temporary)

Starting at $20.00/hour

DOE Schedule:

Monday-Friday | 25-40 hours per week Are you organized, detail-oriented and enjoy working with numbers? We're hiring a Temporary Accounting Assistant to support a busy accounting department in Albion. This is a great opportunity for someone with accounting or bookkeeping experience who is looking to gain valuable experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate is dependable, proficient with Microsoft Excel and committed to maintaining accurate financial records while handling confidential information. What You'll Do Process accounting transactions and maintain accurate financial records Enter daily production, inventory, shipment and receipt information Create and reconcile vendor and product documentation Prepare and submit daily and weekly accounting reports Maintain organized electronic and paper filing systems Assist with account reconciliations and month-end closing activities Support payroll accruals, inventory reporting and financial tracking as assigned Communicate with plant personnel and corporate accounting teams Perform a variety of administrative and accounting duties to support department operations What We're Looking For Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or a related field preferred (equivalent experience will be considered) 1-3 years of accounting, bookkeeping or finance experience preferred Strong Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office skills Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities Ability to maintain confidentiality and accuracy when handling financial information Why Apply?
