Part of Milwaukee based Marcus Hotels & Resorts, the Lincoln Marriott Cornhusker Hotel in downtown Lincoln has been serving Nebraska's capital city for nearly 90 years and has evolved as the benchmark for hospitality. What will you be doing? Maintains Birchstreet purchase orders and invoice reconciliation system Processes all regular and Food & Beverage invoices, check requests, and expense reports for the hotel. Maintains all a/p files with regards to new vendors, expense reports, and check requests. Verify daily cash drops and process daily cash deposits Associate bank audits. Assign associate banks and maintain bank contracts. Stamps and codes all invoices, check requests, and expense reports for payment. What you will bring to the role? Associates degree in business or accounting and/or at least 2 years of experience in a similar accounts payable position preferred. Meet strict time deadlines. Strong PC/typing skills. Strong accuracy with numbers and expense coding a must. Strong Computer literacy needed, extensive Excel knowledge and ability to understand and use other computer programs a must. Ability to work with minimal supervision. What is in it for you?
