Job Description
Join a Growing Medical Billing Team We are an established medical billing company seeking an experienced Medical Accounts Receivable (AR) Specialist to join our team. We are looking for someone who is detail-oriented, motivated, and committed to helping healthcare providers maximize reimbursement. If you enjoy solving claim issues, working insurance follow-up, and being part of a supportive team, we'd love to hear from you. Responsibilities Follow up on outstanding insurance claims with commercial and government payers Research and resolve denied or underpaid claims Submit corrected claims and appeals Review Explanation of Benefits (EOBs) and Electronic Remittance Advices (ERAs) Work aging reports and prioritize accounts for follow-up Document all account activity accurately Communicate professionally with insurance representatives and provider offices Meet productivity and quality goals while maintaining attention to detail Qualifications At least 2 years of medical accounts receivable or insurance follow-up experience preferred Strong understanding of medical billing and insurance claim processing Experience working with Medicare, Medicaid, and commercial insurance plans Ability to analyze denials and determine appropriate next steps Excellent organizational and communication skills Strong computer skills and attention to detail Reliable, dependable, and able to work well in a team environment What We Offer Competitive pay based on experience Monday through Friday schedule No nights or weekends Paid holidays and paid time off Supportive, team-oriented work environment Opportunities for professional growth and advancement Stable, long-term employment with a growing company If you're an experienced Medical AR Specialist looking for a company where your work is valued and your contributions make a difference, we'd like to meet you.
