The ideal candidate will be assisting with A/R and A/P functions. Responsibilities Process and record sales orders, A/R invoices and incoming payments accurately and efficiently. Utilize accounting software Sage 100 for financial reporting. Willing to train if familiar with some accounting software. Support accounts payable functions as needed, which include entering Receipt of Invoice and AP functions. Assist in check runs and notifying vendors of payments. Customer service support. Previous experience in an Accounts Receivable position and/or an Accounts Payable position in a similar role is preferred. Proficiency in data entry with a high level of accuracy. Experience with accounting software such as Quicken or Sage is advantageous. Company is over 100 year-old stable company with long tenured employees.
