As a key player in maintaining accurate financial records, you will help ensure smooth operations and compliance with accounting standards. Your attention to detail and proactive approach will empower our organization to thrive financially while providing you with valuable experience in diverse accounting functions. Responsibilities Manage day-to-day bookkeeping tasks, including data entry and transaction recording using accounting software such as QuickBooks Online, Xero, Sage, and other financial systems Perform bank reconciliations and balance sheet reconciliations to ensure accuracy across all accounts Process payroll, accounts payable, and accounts receivable efficiently and accurately Prepare journal entries, account analysis, and general ledger adjustments in accordance with GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles) Maintain detailed records of financial transactions, including debits & credits, double entry bookkeeping, and account reconciliation Assist with governmental accounting procedures and non-profit accounting requirements when applicable Generate financial reports and assist in budgeting processes to support organizational planning Skills Extensive experience with accounting software such as QuickBooks (including QuickBooks Online) Strong understanding of accounting standards Proficiency in spreadsheets, 10-key typing, and data analysis for accurate account reconciliation and account analysis Knowledge of payroll processing, bank reconciliation, journal entries, and general ledger accounting Excellent attention to detail with the ability to perform precise account analysis and account reconciliation tasks This role is perfect for motivated individuals eager to apply their bookkeeping expertise in a collaborative environment.
