Job Description

Accounting Specialist Job Overview Lifeway Services LLC, is a Residential Care Agency for the intellectually disabled and adults with autism. We are seeking a full time, detail-oriented Accounting Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining company financial records, ensuring compliance with regulations, and supporting the overall financial health of the organization. This position may require working at our office locations in both New Bethlehem, PA and Punxsutawney, PA.

Accounting Specialist Duties:

Maintaining Quickbooks Accounts receivable/payable Reconciliation of accounts Other general accounting duties as assigned

Accounting Specialist Required Experience:

Associate's degree or higher in accounting with 5 years experience Proficient in Quickbooks Good understanding of accounting cycle, specifically accounts payable and accounts receivable Excellent attendance record. Demonstrated high energy level, strong work ethic, and positive approach to problem solving. The ability to work independently with little or no direct supervision. Must be a team player and have the ability to work and interact with other departments throughout the organization Applicant must possess a high level of attention to detail and the ability to maintain confidentiality.

Accounting Specialist Hours:

Full Time:

Monday through Friday 8:30am-4:30pm Position may require working in both our office locations (New Bethlehem and Punxsutawney)

Compensation:

$20-$25 per hour commensurate with experience.
