Job Overview Mintage Business Services is expanding, and we're looking for a detail-oriented, dependable bookkeeper to join our team part-time. We serve clients in hospitality, construction, real estate, and more, and we're passionate about delivering clean books, smooth payroll, and smart financial systems. Responsibilities Maintain accurate bookkeeping for multiple clients using Quickbooks Desktop and Online Process payroll for small businesses (weekly, biweekly, or monthly) Reconcile bank and credit card accounts Categorize transactions and prepare monthly financial reports Process sales tax reporting and payments for clients Assist with onboarding new clients and setting up accounts Possibility to support occasional projects involving Sage Accounting Errands such as dropping mail, buying postage, etc. Qualifications 2+ years of bookkeeping experience Proficient in Quickbooks Desktop and Online Experience with payroll processing (Gusto, ADP, or similar) Familiarity with Sage Accounting is a plus, but not required Strong attention to detail and time management Able to work independently and meet deadlines Additional Details This position will require initial in-office training to ensure a smooth onboarding experience. After training, there is flexibility for remote work arrangements 1-2 days per week. The role is currently 25-30 hours per week, with potential to grow as our business continues to scale.
