Job Summary:

Our client located in between Bee Cave and Spicewood is seeking a detail-oriented Accounting Specialist to join their accounting team on a contract-to-hire basis.

Key Responsibilities:

The Accounting Specialist with handle: Accounts Payables Accounts Receivables Debits/credits (double entry) Accurately record and update financial transactions in the accounting system Perform regular reconciliations of bank statements, accounts payable, and accounts receivable Process invoices, managing payments to vendors, and collecting payments from clients Process incoming payments by check, credit card, and EFT Support internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and information Adhere to accounting policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements Assist in the preparation and monitoring of budgets and forecasts

Qualifications:

3+ years of experience in accounting handling AP and AR functions. Double-entry principles, debits and credits Understanding of GAAP accounting principles and practices Intermediate Excel preferred Sage 300 a plus #AO9
