Accounts Receivable Specialist Sweetwater, TX Full Time Ludlum Measurements Experienced Ludlum Measurements, Inc. is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Accounts Receivable & Collections Specialist to join our finance team in Sweetwater, TX. This role is responsible for managing incoming payments, maintaining accurate financial records, and ensuring timely collection of outstanding accounts while preserving positive customer relationships.

Full-Time, In-Person Job Duties & Responsibilities:
Review and post customer payments (checks, ACH, wire transfers, credit cards) accurately and timely Evaluate customer creditworthiness and make recommendations or decisions on credit approval Establish and adjust customer credit limits based on risk assessment Monitor existing accounts for changes in credit risk and apply credit holds across divisions Monitor accounts receivable aging and follow up on overdue accounts Communicate with customers regarding outstanding balances, payment terms, and discrepancies Reconcile customer accounts and resolve billing issues in coordination with sales and customer service teams Review invoices, statements, and aging reports Maintain accurate records of communications and collection activities Assist with month-end closing processes and reporting Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting standards Review, verify, and process sales commission statements and communicate with representatives Perform other related duties as assigned Skills & Qualifications Associates or Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred 2+ years of experience in accounts receivable and/or collections Strong understanding of accounting principles and AR processes Excellent communication and negotiation skills High attention to detail and strong organizational abilities Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality Self-motivated with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines Familiarity with ERP systems preferred Compensation / Benefits Salary is dependent upon experience Health, Dental, and Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401(k) with company match Paid time off and holidays Flexible Spending Account Opportunities for professional growth and development About Ludlum Measurements Ludlum Measurements, Inc. designs and manufactures radiation detection instruments used in environmental, industrial, and governmental applications around the world.
