full-time Century Equipment Company has an immediate opening for an Accounts Payable Specialist for our corporate office in Salt Lake City, Utah. The ideal candidate will have several years of Accounts Payable experience and a strong understanding of General Ledger codes. A/P experience in systems other than Quickbooks would be preferred. The candidate will need to work effectively with personnel at all nine of our branch locations along with hundreds of outside suppliers. Responsibilities Review and record invoices from vendors to ensure accuracy in billing. Process employee expense reports. Assist with employee health insurance enrollment and with other human resource functions. Maintain 1099s information for year end reporting. Qualifications 3 - 5 years in Accounts Payable processing. Strong understanding of General Ledger system and Accounts Payable processing. Strong organizational, analytical and recording skills. Detail oriented. Proficient in Microsoft Office.
