Personal Lines Account Manager (Hybrid Remote) (223098-14) #OFFICE_INDEED A local insurance company is seeking a Personal Lines Account Manager to join their team. This is a full-time, hybrid remote position. There is flexibility to work from home or to work weekends and evenings from home. Every state and federal holiday off with pay + 3% employer funded 401k contributions! Hours Full-time, 8:00am-4:30pm Location Wahiawa, Oahu Pay $65,000 to $75,000 a year
Responsibilities New Business Support:
Assist producer with new business submissions, including TAM entry, obtaining quotes, and carrier communication, as directed on a per-account basis. New Business (Client-Facing & Support): Manage the new business process end-to-end, including direct client interaction, unless otherwise directed by the agent. Renewals (Full Process): Oversee the complete renewal cycle for assigned accounts, including marketing, quoting, client communication, and binding.
Renewal Support:
Provide renewal assistance (TAM updates, remarketing, quoting) as directed by the agent.
Policy Servicing:
Handle policy changes, endorsements, and audits.
Cancellations & Reinstatements:
Manage Notices of Cancellation (NOC), cancellations, reinstatements, and policy rewrites. Certificates of Insurance (COIs): Issue, revise, and rescind certificates for new and existing policies.
Billing & Accounting Support:
Process invoicing, policy booking, finance agreements, and refunds.
Inspections & Compliance:
Monitor inspection results and ensure compliance requirements are met.
Bonds:
Assist with the processing and servicing of bond requests.
Coverage Guidance:
Respond to client inquiries regarding policy coverage and provide support as needed.
Client Interaction:
Conduct walk-in or scheduled client meetings to review and discuss commercial lines policies.
Communication:
Maintain timely and professional email correspondence and follow-up with clients and carriers. TDI (If Licensed): Assist with Temporary Disability Insurance servicing as applicable.
Personal Lines Support:
Provide occasional support for personal lines accounts when needed.
Claims Intake:
Gather initial claim information from clients and report claims to carriers. Qualifications Licensed (P&L and Life) required. Previous administrative/office experience required. Insurance background desirable. Knowledgeable with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint) and computers. Possess strong verbal and written communication skills with excellent phone etiquette. Possess excellent customer service skills. Ability to prioritize, multi-task and meet deadlines. Ability to maintain sensitive and confidential information. Must pass a state/federal background check, contingent upon hire.
