Job Description

Position Summary:
Dynamic Specialty Inc is seeking an experienced Chief Financial Officer to lead finance strategy and execution across the organization. The CFO will own core finance and accounting operations, strengthen financial reporting and internal controls, and serve as a strategic partner to the CEO in driving the company's growth and long-term financial health.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Lead the company's overall finance and accounting strategy with primary accountability for financial health and performance: Develop and execute the company's financial strategy and long-range planning in partnership with the CEO Manage external relationships including banking partners, auditors, tax advisors, and legal counsel Create and present clear financial packages to the CEO and leadership team: forecasts, KPI dashboards, and performance analysis Oversee cash management and treasury functions, ensuring healthy liquidity and working capital Support leadership presentations and reporting; ensure a consistent, credible financial narrative for internal and external stakeholders Identify and manage financial risk, including insurance, regulatory, and operational exposures Continuously improve financial documentation, controls, and close rigor across the organization. Identify opportunities to improve margin, cash conversion, and overall financial performance. Lead core accounting operations including billing, AR/AP, payroll coordination, GL, and close. Deliver monthly/quarterly/year-end close and GAAP financial statements. Implement internal controls and audit procedures to strengthen compliance and minimize financial leakage. Drive budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning aligned to company growth strategy and value drivers. Ensure compliance with applicable financial and insurance-related requirements. Lead and develop the finance team (Accounting Consultant, Staff Accountant Lead, AR/AP Lead; plus cross-functional support from a Business Analyst as applicable). Partner with IT/technology resources to automate reporting and strengthen finance systems.

Minimum Qualifications:
Required:
Demonstrated experience as a senior finance leader with full ownership of the finance function, including close, reporting, and controls. 12+ years of progressive finance/accounting leadership experience, including leadership of teams and close/reporting ownership. Insurance industry finance/accounting experience required; P&C strongly preferred. Strong GAAP financial reporting, internal controls, and ability to produce accurate, audit-ready financial statements. Experience partnering with external advisors, including banking, legal, tax, and audit. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
Preferred:
CPA and/or MBA strongly preferred. Experience in the insurance/MGA industry, with a strong understanding of insurance-specific financial and regulatory requirements. Familiarity with common finance/CRM/accounting systems and automation initiatives.
Physical Demands and Work Environment:
Office-based with standard business hours. Occasional extended hours expected during close cycles and year-end reporting. Travel may be required for advisor meetings and other business needs.

$225,000.00
