Come be a part of our mission to change lives! The Role The Claims Integrity Team Lead will oversee the claims integrity team ensuring the accuracy, efficiency, and compliance of the claims process. This role involves managing daily operations, mentoring team members, and optimizing processes to improve claim resolutions. What You'll Do Lead and mentor the claims integrity team, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment. Oversee the management of aging reports and ensure timely resolution of outstanding claims. Develop and implement strategies for submitting reconsiderations, appeals, and other claims adjustments. Monitor and manage denial, error, and invalid buckets, conducting daily follow-ups. Serve as a primary point of contact for complex inquiries from staff, patients, and practice partners. Ensure timely and accurate scrubbing and electronic resubmission of rejected and invalid insurance claims. Conduct monthly staff quality assurance audits to maintain high standards of accuracy and compliance. Facilitate training sessions and provide ongoing support for team members on claims processes. Analyze insurance trends and data to identify areas for process improvement and operational efficiency. Projects and additional duties as assigned. What You'll Bring Minimum of 3+ years of experience in healthcare billing or claims processing. Proven leadership skills with experience in managing a team. Strong knowledge of medical terminology, ICD-10, and CPT coding. Familiarity with major insurance carriers, insurance verification, benefits, and referrals. Comprehensive understanding of HIPAA compliance regulations. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to interact effectively with diverse stakeholders. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a focus on optimizing processes.
