What You Will Do:

Work with peers to develop processes to assist with intake, evaluation, investigation, documentation, communication and tracking of workers' compensation injury claims.\n
Collaborate with third-party claims administrator (TPA) to perform exposure/ coverage determination, cost estimation, and case management.\n
Coordinate claim managing from notification to close.\n
Engage with peers in minimizing both the exposure and the financial loss resulting from claims.\n
Coordinate and communicate claim notification and findings to safety, operations, finance, administration, risk management and law departments.\n
Obtain necessary documentation, records, statements, and regulations and investigate scope of claim/ incident.

Minimum Qualifications:

Be self-motivated, results oriented and proactive\n
2+ years of similar administrative work experience\n
Post secondary education or equivalent combination of education and experience\n
Strong computer, organizational and communication skills\n
Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications\n

Preferred Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in business, Finance, or related field\n
Previous experience handling Workers' Compensation insurance claims\n
Experience in a field service organization.
