DOT Compliance Manager - Transportation About Truline Corporation Truline Corporation is a transportation company with a long-standing history of serving customers, supporting professional drivers, and operating with a strong commitment to safety, compliance, service, and accountability. Position Summary We are seeking an experienced DOT Compliance Manager - Transportation to support and strengthen our regulatory compliance program. This role requires a hands-on transportation compliance professional with strong knowledge of FMCSA regulations, DOT requirements, Hours of Service, ELDs, driver qualification files, audits, roadside inspection follow-up, driver onboarding, orientation support, and compliance documentation. The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, confident, and comfortable working directly with drivers, Operations, Safety, Recruiting, Orientation, Payroll, Maintenance, Human Resources, and company leadership. This is a full-time, in-office position and requires availability for occasional after-hours and weekend calls due to the nature of transportation operations. Work Environment This is a full-time, in-office position located in Las Vegas, Nevada. Due to the nature of the trucking and transportation industry, occasional after-hours and weekend availability is required to support urgent compliance, driver, ELD, HOS, roadside inspection, driver qualification, employee documentation, or operational matters.
Job Requirements:
Required Qualifications Prior transportation compliance experience in trucking, logistics, motor carrier operations, or a similar regulated transportation environment. Strong working knowledge of FMCSA regulations and DOT compliance requirements. Strong knowledge of Hours of Service regulations and ELD compliance. Experience reviewing driver logs, ELD records, HOS violations, supporting documents, log edits, certifications, and annotations. Experience with Driver Qualification files and driver compliance documentation. Ability to understand and apply regulatory requirements in practical operational situations. Ability to assist with EEO-related documentation, employee relations support, and unemployment claim preparation. Strong ability to prepare factual, professional documentation related to driver conduct, compliance issues, corrective action, investigations, and separations. Comfortable presenting compliance information in person to drivers, managers, and leadership. Strong documentation, follow-up, communication, and organizational skills. Ability to work full-time in the office. Must be available for occasional after-hours and weekend calls due to transportation operational needs. Strong judgment, professionalism, confidentiality, and attention to detail. Preferred Qualifications Experience supporting CDL driver onboarding or orientation. Experience using ELD systems such as Platform Science, PeopleNet, Motive, Samsara, Omnitracs, or similar platforms. Experience with FMCSA Portal, CSA, PSP, MVRs, Clearinghouse, DataQs, and roadside inspection follow-up. Experience preparing for DOT audits, insurance reviews, customer compliance audits, or internal compliance reviews. Experience supporting drug and alcohol compliance under
DOT/FMCSA
requirements. Experience assisting with unemployment claims, EEO documentation, workplace investigations, or employee relations matters in a transportation or operations-based environment. Prior experience working closely with HR on driver separations, corrective action, policy violations, and employment-related documentation. Experience working with multi-state transportation operations. Prior experience in Safety, Compliance, Driver Qualification, Orientation, or Fleet Operations. NATMI, CDS, CSS, or other transportation safety/compliance certification preferred but not required.
