With a growing fleetand a team of dedicated professionals, we are seeking a knowledgeable andproactive Safety Compliance Lead to strengthen our safety program and ensurecompliance with all local, state, and federal transportation regulations.
Position Summary:
The SafetyCompliance Lead will be responsible for ensuring regulatory compliance,maintaining fleet compliance, and confirming that employees are properlytrained, licensed as required, and following safe driving practices.
Key Responsibilities:
Ensure company compliance with OSHA recordkeeping requirements Ensure company compliance with all
DOT/FMCSA
regulations and applicable state laws Monitor and manage driver qualification files, hours of service (HOS), MVRs, drug and alcohol testing, and other compliance requirements Ensure compliance with MSHA requirements, including Part 46 & 48 training, sampling, and quarterly reporting Update client compliance software (ISNetworld, PEC, Avetta, etc.) Conduct accident investigations and recommend corrective actions Perform internal safety audits, inspections, and fleet compliance checks Track and analyze safety metrics to identify trends and implement improvements Support Operations and the Safety Team with additional duties as assigned
Qualifications:
5+ years of experience in Health & Safety with a strong knowledge of MSHA, OSHA, and FMCSA regulations Familiarity with accident investigation procedures and root cause analysis Excellent communication, leadership, and training skills Proficiency in Microsoft Office; familiarity with Spectrum (Trimble) and Power BI is a plus Safety certifications (CDS, CSS, OSHA 30, etc.) are a plus Bachelor's degree preferred, but equivalent experience will be considered
