This role oversees auditing activities, analyzes quality performance, and partners with cross-functional teams to enhance efficiency and product excellence. Required Education and Experience Develop and implement quality management systems and procedures in alignment with company and regulatory standards (e.g., ISO Quality Management Systems). Monitor and evaluate quality control processes, conduct internal audits, and support external audit activities. Inspect products and services at various stages to ensure compliance with established standards and customer expectations. Analyze quality data using statistical process control (SPC) and other tools to identify trends, inefficiencies, and improvement opportunities. Investigate customer complaints, determine root causes, and implement corrective and preventive actions. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, manufacturing, and suppliers, to resolve quality issues and maintain compliance. Train, mentor, and lead staff on quality standards, best practices, and continuous improvement initiatives. Maintain accurate and complete quality documentation to support audits, certifications, and regulatory requirements. HS Diploma/GED
AA/AS BA/BS MBA/MS PHD
Associate's degree or higher in Engineering, Quality Assurance, or a related technical field. Minimum of three (3) years of experience in quality assurance within a manufacturing and/or distribution environment. Additional Qualifications Hands-on experience applying quality principles and methodologies. Experience with statistical process control and data analysis. Familiarity with
ISO 9000
quality systems. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Proven leadership ability with a collaborative, team-oriented mindset. Self-motivated with strong organizational skills. Supervisory Responsibilities Manage and develop assigned staff in accordance with company policies and applicable laws. Lead team to meet or exceed service-level agreements (SLAs). Participate in interviewing, hiring, training, and onboarding of employees. Assign and direct daily work, conduct performance evaluations, and provide coaching and discipline as needed. Serve as escalation point for issue resolution and employee concerns. Work Environment Primarily operates in a warehouse environment. Requires flexibility to adapt between warehouse floor activities and administrative tasks. Regular use of office equipment, tablets, scanners, and related tools Physical Demands Regularly required to stand, walk, talk, and hear. Frequent use of hands to handle products and equipment. Must occasionally lift and move up to 30 pounds. Requires ability to see close, distant, and peripheral, as well as adjust focus. Travel No travel is expected for this position.
