What to Expect This role focuses on driving operational efficiencies through innovative "first principle thinking" and leading global trade process and system enhancements at Tesla. The Global Trade Compliance Analyst will collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure compliance with international trade regulations while optimizing costs. Key areas of impact include expanding automation initiatives, identifying new cost mitigation strategies, and maintaining detailed documentation and audit processes to support Tesla's mission of accelerating the world's transition to sustainable energy. What You'll Do

Develop and implement tools, systems, and processes to enhance trade compliance and transactional efficiency

Collaborate with internal departments to keep them informed on trade-related matters and build cross-functional relationships

Review trade spend such as customs duties and tariffs to identify and eliminate unnecessary costs

Oversee audits and ensure adherence to global trade compliance requirements

Lead the integration of automation and AI in system modules to improve productivity and scalability

Document processes and projects to drive cost savings and operational efficiency

Serve as a key resource for researching and resolving global trade-related inquiries What You'll Bring

Degree in Supply Chain Management, International Business, or equivalent experience

Exceptional analytical skills for data manipulation and interpretation

Advanced proficiency in BI tools such as Microsoft Excel, Tableau, and SQL

Experience in systems implementation and understanding of basic programming concepts

Strong communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences

Ability to create detailed written reports, proposals, and project documentation

Capability to work in a fast-paced environment while delivering high-quality results

Expected Compensation

$80,000 - $168,000/annual salary + cash and stock awards + benefits Pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements dependent on the position offered.
