Real Estate Policy and Compliance Analyst

Job Description

Overview The incumbent in this position is responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining Real Estate ordinances, policies, and standard operating procedures (SOPs) for a department focused on governmental real estate, land use, leases, permits, agreements, easements, rights-of-way, set asides and related areas. The individual works closely with various stakeholders including STOF Departments, planners, attorneys, and community members to ensure that Real Estate policies, procedures and regulations are comprehensive, effective, and aligned with the organization's objectives. The person also optimizes tracking systems; implements and maintains document controls standards, based on best practices. In addition, the individual serves as backup person for the Loan Team, as needed. Bachelor's degree in Urban Planning, Public Policy, Business Administration, Law, or a related field, is required. A minimum of five (5) years of experience working and use planning, zoning administration, policy development, or a closely related area, preferably in a government agency or consulting firm is required. An equivalent combination of education/training and experience may be considered. Knowledge and understanding of land use, leases, permits, agreements, easements, rights-of-way, set aside regulatory frameworks, and planning principles, with the ability to interpret and apply complex statutes, ordinances, and codes is highly preferred. Possession of a valid Florida Driver's License is required. Demonstrate excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Proficiency utilizing Microsoft software packages and databases, excellent written and verbal communication skills, excellent organizational and interpersonal skills are required. Ability to travel and work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Pay:
$63,399.09 - $76,351.59 per year
