PM What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to visitors, staff, and law enforcement personnel by carrying out access-control procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a government location. Monitor entrances, exits, and controlled access points; verify authorization and credentials; and maintain visitor logs and/or access records in accordance with site procedures. Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, promptly communicating observations to appropriate personnel. Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned areas, entry points, parking areas, and perimeter to help deter unauthorized access and report unusual activity. Operate access-control equipment and communications systems, document incidents and observations, and follow established post orders and reporting procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

A Guard Card/License is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
